Olive Wood

While traveling in California this past winter, we wandered into a shop that sold flavored olive oils and many olive-related products. I was awed by the beauty of the grain in olive wood products, which I had never seen before. I was able to acquire some olive wood and am please to offer these boards in my shop.

These are slices of pruned limbs of olive trees. They are irregular in shape and nominally 16" long x 8" wide (at the widest) and between 1/2" & 3/4" thick. They can be used as cutting boards or serving boards for anything:  cheese, charcuterie, fruit, veggies.
